Uruguay is a country with plenty of sunshine and with one tree for every three of its inhabitants, Montevideo is one of the greenest capitals in the world. Discovering the city by bike is a real pleasure. We have mapped out a safe route that combines culture and nature, with plenty of time to rest and enjoy beautiful views. We start in the old town (Ciudad Vieja), where we will ride along the most important squares. Afterwards, we will cycle along a beautiful part of the Rambla. We end the tour in Rodó Park where a tasty treat will be waiting for you. Along the tour, we will take breaks to enjoy the views and learn about local culture and history. Departure time: on request

This monument, made of purple granite, is located on the Rambla and is an impressive 120 meters long. It is constructed in memory of the victims of the Holocaust.
Punta Carretas Lighthouse
The lighthouse is located on a peninsula south of the Rambla. Close by there is a prestigious golf club. This is the southernmost point of Uruguay.
Pocitos beach with Montevideo sign

Return via the Rodó Park
Parque Rodó is the oldest park in Montevideo. It was designed by two French architects and named after the famous Uruguayan writer Jose Enrique Rodó.
