Are you ready to taste the best Uruguayan barbecue? And are you curious about how it’s prepared? This is your chance! You and your (private) group will be welcomed to a beautiful and cozy backyard in Carrasco to taste the finest meat from one of Montevideo’s most exclusive butchers. The combination of personalized service and a warm atmosphere makes the experience complete. A Uruguayan “asador” will explain how to prepare the best Uruguayan barbecue. He’ll show you different types of meat, explain the cooking methods, and detail which cuts should go where on the grill for the best results. Vegetarians aren’t left out, as a wide variety of vegetables and other delicacies are also prepared, such as roasted sweet potatoes, salads, melted provolone cheese, bread, and homemade chimichurri. The barbecue is served with typical Uruguayan Tannat wine, local beers, and freshly squeezed juices. Dessert consists of a selection of various Uruguayan desserts and sweets. A wine/whiskey/beer tasting is optional.
